Movie review - "Trader Horn" (1973) **

No classic but is not that bad, being cheery enough entertainment in an afternoon-matinee-serial kind of way which young children should enjoy. The main problem is that the cutting between the new, studio-based footage and the old, location-based King Solomon’s Mines footage is so awkward and obvious. Rod Taylor makes an ideal Trader, although his stomach is a little large for an African adventurer.
