Book review - "A Man About a Dog" by Alec Coppel
Very short book (only 189 pages) that reads like a play that has been typed up – there is very little internal characterisation, lots of short chapters and most of the book his dialogue. It was turned into a play and a film (called Obsession). It's about a doctor who tries to commit the perfect murder against his adulterous wife and her lover. Things eventually come a cropper but not after a number of twists and turns, and a bright method of disposing a body. There are lots of talk along lines of "I watch a lot of thrillers and people do X".
