Movie review - "Transamerica" (2006) **

Ok look at transgender lifestyle as played by Felicity Huffman. She goes on a road trip before her final operation with a long lost teenage son. It's not without interest, especially the group of Christian transgender-ists, but the film generally seems to lack a bit of warmth. Huffman is skilled but so obviously pained it isn't fun to spend much time in her company.
