Movie review – “Who Was That Lady?” (1960) **1/2

Great star power and not a bad idea but it badly lacks colour. Tony Curtis was a notorious cheater on Janet Leigh so he’s ideal casting as a science professor who is busted by wife Janet Leigh pashing a student. He enlists the help of his boozy writer friend Dean Martin who concocts a story about Curtis being a spy, which Janet is believes so much she ends up causing complications.

Not bad – not one of Norman Krasna;s best works (it’s from his play) and it's about a man trying to cover up infidelities to his wife but there’s plenty of energy, act three brings in real spies as it should and the three stars all give it their all.
