Movie review - Chan#7 - "Charlie Chan in Paris" (1935) **

A nice nod to continuity - Charlie is on his way back home from London after Charlie Chan in London and stops off in Paris to get involved in another mystery. An agent he knows is a slinky dame who performs a spectacular dance number and is killed. There's a mysterious war veteran dressed up like the Invisible Man, a spooky scene at the end - but this is fairly mild Charlie Chan which never really feels like its taking place in Paris, even imaginary 20th Century Fox B movie Paris. It's too slow and the mystery isn't that involving.
