Interesting list. Bing Crosby was super popular. The peak of Alan Ladd. No Errol Flynn.

Interestingly, that same year, the ratings for Crosby's radio show began to decline and he started having fewer hits on the pop charts. But he was still enjoying huge movie successes ten years later ("High Society").

I didn't know that about Crosby's radio show. His popularity in the 40s is staggering on screen nonetheless.
