Movie review - "Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine" (2015) ****

Another work from Alex Gibney, the director of Going Clear. Like that this has got some awesome footage: Jobs giving a deposition, sneaky footage of him walking along while siclk, roll on tape of one of his first interviews. Talking heads include a lot of journalists, the mother of his first child, some former co workers who had unpleasant experiences. A very clear picture of Jobs emerges - charismatic, brilliant, driven, kind of a spiritual but at the end of the day the same money hungry ego maniacal sociopath that most self made billionaires are, bullying co workers, denying paternity of his child, trying to avoid tax and paying shit kickers too much, unable to handle criticism. Absolutely he did leave the world a better place though. Very well made.
