Radio review –Lux – “Laura” (1954) ***1/2

Strong version of the famous murder mystery with Gene Tierney reprising her screen role and Victor Mature stepping in for Dana Andrews – he’s more passionate (histrionic maybe) than Andrews but effective, and the Cliffton Webb replacement isn’t bad.
