Movie review - "Mary Poppins" (1964) ***

 Catchy tunes. Beautifully cast star. Dick Van Dyke gives it all. Not a lot of story but it touches on important themes. Garish backlot. Great stomping and dancing. Goes a long time. Defies criticism really.
