My top ten Charles B Griffith works
1) Little Shop of Horrors (1960, script) - may as well get this over and done with, it remains a brilliant script
2) Bucket of Blood (1959, script) - established the Little Shop structure this isn't as fun but is still great
3) The Undead (1957, script) - the cult for this movie is increasing in recent years which is great to see, very cheap but imaginative and well done
4) Not of this Earth (1957, script) - I wasn't as amazed about this as I thought would be but still clearly work from a talented man
5) Creature from the Haunted Sea (1961, script) - insane, hilarious comedy
6) Attack of the Crab Monsters (1956, script) - marvelous structure, really shows how this sort of thing can be done
7) It Conquered the World (1957, script) - a really, really good script, done straight but with great emotion
8) Death Race 2000 (1975, script) - am unsure of Griffith's contribution here but surely he kicked in with some of the more memorable moments
9) Gunslinger (1955, script) - unheralded Western actually has a couple of great moments thanks to Griffith
10) Eat My Dust! (1976, director) - not an awe inspiring movie but unpretentious and effective and his best effort behind the camera - he embraces the cartoon aspect with relish, has plenty of crashes, and a perfect lead in Ron Howard
