Feels like a throwback to live TV - a super faithful adaptation of the classic play with some old gnarly actors only in colour. The boozeheads include Frederick March and Robert Ryan. Lee Marvin is the born again drinker.
It's meaty stuff, a strong play, but it goes for so, so long. Almost three hours.
